To provide a quality service to both individuals and family systems within the community that builds upon existing strengths and values, in an effort to secure a more healthy and productive lifestyle, and to insure that dignity, respect, and personal growth is the focus of assisting clients and families in reaching the solutions that are desired.
Creative Family Solutions, Inc. is a private agency licensed by the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services to provide:
  • Intensive In-home
  • Client Behavior Intervention
  • Mentoring
  • Mental Health Supports
  • Supported Residential Services/In-home Under Both the MR and the DD Waivers
  • Crisis Stabilization Under Both the MR and the DD Waivers
  • Crisis Supervision Under Both the MR and the DD Waivers
CFS prides itself on never having a waiting list. If a consumer is eligible for in-home services, then CFS will entertain the referral. The company grows with the need of the individuals in all areas of Virginia. Referrals are accepted from individuals, Community Service Boards, Family Assessment Planning Teams (FAPT), Department of Social Services, and Court Systems.
A qualified clinician is assigned to each new referral. Children, adolescents, and adults with special needs are empowered to hire their own service provider. The assigned clinician assists the consumer with the interviewing process and waits for the consumer's final decision prior to initiation of services.
